Your Impactful Role:
- Collaborate with a watch team to coordinate responses to network outages, working alongside Voice, Video, IP, Transport, OSP Construction, and local Operations Engineers to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain daily operations by monitoring, identifying, and resolving performance issues across servers, systems, and applications, ensuring peak performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve network outages while providing prompt event notifications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance escalations, taking ownership of customer issues and seeing them through to resolution.
- Work cross-functionally on departmental and special projects that showcase your expertise.
What You'll Bring:
- An active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Network Administration. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
- CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification - must obtain within 90 days from date of hire.
- Proficiency with TACACs+, data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability analysis and remediation.
- Proficient in configuring CISCO devices using: EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, TCP/IP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, ARP, dot1Q, VLANs, VPN, GRE, IPSEC, subnetting, NAT, access control lists, and various other routing and networking protocols.
- Experience with data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability analysis & remediation.
- Exceptional customer service skills – demonstrated ability to work with an incredibly wide variety of teams, internal and external customers, internal and external service providers.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the OSI model and how it pertains to various transmission protocols, and multi-protocol routing including VRF, VPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPLS, and VP

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
