We turn recycled sawdust into value-add, branded consumer products. Diesel Mechanic ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairsProduce accurate and itemized work orders on the work that was completedUtilize the latest in diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint truck issuesConduct truck inspections and alert the Service manager to issues that will prevent their trucks from passing inspectionPerform other maintenance duties as requestedDiesel Mechanic Education / QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED required - vocational school preferredValid Driver LicenseKnowledge of heavy-duty equipment - front end loaders, forklifts & skid steersMust have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsBasic hydraulic knowledge also a plusPhysically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassistedEffective written and oral communication skillsAble to work well with minimal supervision - this position reports directly to the fleet maintenance supervisorAbility to prioritize tasks and follow specified proceduresAble to work all shifts and overtime if necessary1 year plus experience performing repairs and services on Diesel and Heavy Equipment5-7 years of experience a plusMust have own set of toolsAbility to work occasional weekends as needed Diesel Mechanic BenefitsAnnual bonusPellet purchase programMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (FSA & HSA options)401(k) with matching opportunities Paid Time offCareer development opportunities Lignetics SWAG gear to include an annual pair of work boots & other PPE .
