Job Number 670521BR Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Field Rep. Stf (SQFR) supporting the PAC3 /MSE Program at Aerojet Rocketdyne, Inc at Camden, Arkansas. Primary assignment will be an on-site resident representative at the supplier. The position may also require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the US and possibly some international suppliers. Candidates for this position could expect to lift objects, parts, etc. of up to 35 pounds periodically for review and assessment. Duties include: Performance at suppliers of scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards. Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests. Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs and program management activities. Support (as required) supplier's failure / diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities. Perform Quality Management System and Special Process surveys. Perform on-going surveillance of supplier's conformance to Lockheed Martin requirement documents and provide written weekly reports. Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters. Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with supplier on a daily basis.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have ability to obtain a security clearance Experience with:
• Manufacturing and inspection of electronic and mechanical components or assemblies
• Welding, Machining and associated inspection(s)
• APQP / AS9145 / AS9102 (First Article Inspections) methodology / implementation and tool usage
• Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Energetics Understanding of audits, special processes and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with suppliers to support the Program Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the area of Supplier Quality Strong background in understanding engineering drawing requirements including GD&T, electrical and mechanical inspection methods A basic understanding of special process surveys and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with a supplier on a daily basis to support Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Programs The candidate must be capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems, be able to focus on continual improvement practices, using tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis to drive Corrective and Preventive Action Able to utilize Microsoft programs in support of the daily assignments to help communicate with the supplier and (MFC) Dallas management Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment and weekly reports Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Sub-contracts (Buyers) and Government Representatives Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all program supplier quality engineering activities Must be able to lift objects, parts, etc. of up to 35 pounds periodically for review and assessment Ability to work flexible hours and possible weekends Must be able to stand and use the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye / hearing protection, or other protective equipment designed to protect people from work place)
Desired Skills:
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience/ specialized training commensurate with assignment. A basic understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP business system and Procure to Pay (P2P) Experience performing Quality Management System and Special Process surveys ASQ Certifications Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt) Experience with solid rocket Motor manufacturing and high temperature materials (e.g., carbon-carbon composites)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
