Serve as the supply chain procurement engineer for multiple material-intensive programs and initiatives. In this role, you can be expected to work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to facilitate system architecture and design with the goal of transforming and translating technical requirements into an executable Bill of Material (BOM). In addition, you will serve as Program Material Manager for a portfolio of programs responsible for tracking, expediting, and providing status for all program demand requirements and ensuring all parts, services, and / or maintenance are ordered and delivered to support program and production schedules. In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities: • The incumbent will be reviewing and working with engineering and suppliers to estimate and/or price Bills of Material.
• The incumbent will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, coordination, and inventory tracking.
• The procurement engineer will coordinate with suppliers to select hardware and/or software,
model maintenance solutions.
• This position is for you if you like solving problems, and developing technical solutions,
without a clear step-by-step action plan and you don't get flustered easily. • If you don't know the answer you're the type of person who digs until you find it. Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in in either Denver, CO , or King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
• 6+ years of professional experience in either Supply Chain, Procurement Engineering, or Project Management.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET / SCI with Poly clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Technology (IT) Suppliers under tight time
constraints.
• Experience dealing with assignments with
aggressive schedules and unreasonable
deadlines.
• Multi-task capable (can handle multiple

• Experience in a technical discipline is required. • Project costing and supplier interface
experience. • Project planning and implementation
experience.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to
coordinate with suppliers to select hardware
and/or software, model maintenance solutions, and resolve conflicts.
• Experience developing Bills of Material and estimates is a plus; know a thing or two about project planning, and scheduling, has a keen
sense of coordination and attention to detail,
with a demonstrated history of developing
technical solutions.
• Ability to multi-task (can handle multiple
program interfaces simultaneously with minimal supervision).
Demonstrated experience interfacing across
multiple organizations and program levels.
• Know something about Supply Chain
Engineering, Software License Management,
Logistics, hardware/software maintenance
planning, Earned Value Management (EVM is a plus), Proposal Experience, and/or Cost Strategy Experience
• Experience dealing with assignments with
aggressive schedules.
• Experience in project costing and supplier

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $95,900 - $183,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
