The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team in the Division of Hematology Oncology at the MacNeal Cancer Center in Berwyn, IL.  The APP is responsible for providing comprehensive care patients from first diagnosis to survivorship.  This position will demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients in acute and chronic phases of their cancer care.  The APP is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, and health promotion and care coordination for patients and families.  This position will possess an advanced level of medical/nursing clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and systems-based practices.  The APP will provide independent care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements. ?

Requirements:

Minimum Education Required: Masters Degree
Specify Degree(s): Nursing

Minimum Experience Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications Required: CPR - Basic Life Support
Nursing - Current Registered Nurse license State of Illinois
Nursing - Nurse Practitioner license State of Illinois
