The level will depend on the candidate’s experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.The Role:· Maintain a lab utilized by a team of electrical and mechanical engineers· Lead a team of technicians supporting the development of power electronics products in multiple labs.· Define and enforce lab rules and standards regarding safety and cleanliness (5s and EHS).· Interface with all stakeholders (design engineers, test engineers, management) to define priorities and coordinate workload among labs and technicians.· Manage lab inventory and equipment calibration/maintenance schedules· Responsible for test setups and to support the test execution for power electronics tests (e. g. functional, environmental, thermal, durability, etc.).· Ensure labs and test set-ups meet requirements and standards for safety and accuracy.· Wiring high voltage cables, coolant lines, and low voltage cables to test stations.· Assemble and rework printed circuit board assemblies· Troubleshoot potential set-up errors.· Prepare harness’ and connectors according to engineers’ requirements.· Be part of a team to develop amazing electronics products.Qualifications:· Over 5 years of experience as engineering technician.· Minimum 3 year of people leadership· Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and components· Ability to be flexible and responsive.· Hands-on mentality.· PCBA rework capabilities.· Good understanding on how to work safely and efficiently in the lab· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.· Strong organizational, communication and planning skills.Preferred:· Over 7 years of experience as engineering technician.· Over 5 leadership experience as a supervisor or Lead technician.· Good understanding of lab equipment (e. g. climate chambers, chillers, battery simulators).· Good understanding of lab rules regarding EHS and 5s.· Used Jira for workforce task management· Background in automotive Test and Validation.Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
