Radio Operations SME Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education * N/a Experience Required * Expert-level knowledge in the operation, instruction, and evaluation of radio procedures. * Proficiency in field expedient antenna employment. * Expertise in operating the following tactical radios: * PYQ-10 SKL * KIK-11 TKL * AN/PRC-163 NGHH * AN/PRC-167 NGMP * AN/PRC-117G * AN/PRC-160 * Appropriate certifications or experience in: * United States Marine Corps (USMC) Basic Instructor Course Certification * Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education (MCISD-SATE) model for formal and informal curriculum development and instructional requirements * Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including: * Word * Excel * PowerPoint * Basic knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP) computer network routing. * Secret clearance required. Job Objective The objective is to provide the MRTC S-6 with the capabilities to instruct entry-level, pipeline, and advanced communications training and evaluate skills taught for the MARSOC communications training pipeline. MARSOC requires contractor support for SMEs who will provide necessary services at the MARSOC MRTC aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Responsibilities * Provide services, support, and expertise in the communications training areas of Special Operations Forces (SOF) tactical radio systems procedures, operations, and employment. * Provide support and expertise for Information Technology (IT) systems management and services, including audio visual (AV) support for classrooms and facilities. * Offer subject matter expertise, advice, and support to the MRTC S-6 Communications section mission regarding unit tactical communications devices and garrison IT services support for day-to-day operations. * Provide information following training sessions, including after-action report input, trip reports, and instructor rating forms, to ensure training objectives are met and offer feedback for potential course and/or instruction improvements. * Support two Derna Bridge culminating exercises annually by: * Providing basic radio operator support * Setting up equipment * Performing movement and operation checks * Analyzing currently established communications * Reviewing course curriculum materials * Troubleshooting systems during the events Work Location Camp Lejeune, NC About Lukos Lukos delivers professional services to the Department of Defense.
