As an AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and robust cloud applications. You will work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the AWS environment and ensure the system's performance aligns with business objectives and security standards.
Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high availability cloud infrastructure on AWS. Migrate existing on-premises applications to AWS cloud. Manage full AWS Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation, and Security. Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems. Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS. Ensure effective security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions. Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of applications in cloud environments. Monitor the performance of cloud services, optimize resource utilization, and manage cost. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and AWS services. Collaborate with IT and development teams to support cloud operations and troubleshoot issues. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) is highly preferred. Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, VPC, CloudFormation, etc. Experience with cloud automation and scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration technologies. Strong understanding of network technologies as they relate to AWS. Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
