Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred (but not required)

Experience: Experience working with children in a behavioral setting is preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right person!)

Training: Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course (can be provided)

Certification: Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred (we can help you become certified)

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

Transportation: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Technology: Basic computer skills required; willingness to learn and use data collection software

Must be dependable, consistent, and open to working with various clients and locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver 1:1 therapy to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques

Collect data on behavior and skill acquisition using provided electronic systems (no personal devices)

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill development goals as outlined by supervising BCBAs
-
Complete accurate and timely session notes; secure parent/caregiver signatures when required

Attend weekly or as-needed supervision meetings with the supervising BCBA to review client progress and receive feedback

Maintain open, respectful communication with families and caregivers

Support the maintenance of a clean and organized therapy environment

Ensure reinforcement materials are updated and notify BCBA of any needed supplies

Remain focused solely on the assigned client during sessions (not responsible for other children in the home)
