About the Role: As a school-based Registered Behavior Technician, you'll work directly in DOE schools providing one-on-one and small group ABA therapy services. You'll collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to help students succeed in the school environment.

What You'll Do:
Provide ABA therapy services in general and special education classrooms
Support students during academic instruction, recess, lunch, and transitions
Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
Collect data on student progress and communicate with school teams
Attend IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
What we are looking for:
Experience in school settings (teacher, aide, paraprofessional, substitute)
Understanding of IEPs and special education processes is a plus (but not required, we will teach you)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Flexibility to work at different school locations across the Central District (Mililani/Wahiawa)
Reliable transportation
Comfort working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
Qualifications/Requirements:
Pass DOE background check requirements
48 completed college credits (3 in MATH 100 or up and 3 in ENG 100 or up)
Current or willing to obtain RBT certification (we provide training!)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
Professional demeanor appropriate for school settings
Availability Monday to Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm (also available to complete trainings to obtain certification)
This role requires frequent movement, including sitting on the floor, standing, bending, and responding quickly to client needs. Candidates must be able to lift or assist clients and equipment up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rates based on education and experience (starting at $24 with opportunities for raises)
Consistent schedule (Monday to Friday 30+ hours per week)
