Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction industry, is seeking a Drafter to join their team. As a Drafter, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting the Design and Production Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Drafter
Location: Falconer, NY
Pay: $27/h + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and material requirements.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using SolidWorks.
Describe production methods, including equipment and software types to be used.
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible.
Provide support for molding design, with on-site training available.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
Experience with drafting in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
