SUPPORT ENGINEER III

Our client, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Current Certification in IPC Soldering standards including 7711/7721/ J-STD, and J-STD Space Applications which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Support Engineer 

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $35.00 Hourly

What’s the Job?

• Follow ESD safe protocols and safe handling techniques when handling sensitive assemblies.



• Perform Circuit Board inspection, circuit rework/modification, cable harness, fabrication, electronic box assembly, and electrical signal measurement.



• Assemble F/A First Article Electronic test racks, Test fixtures, and associated wiring.



• Perform First Article conformal coat/staking inspections and document deviations. 



• Review pre-release work instructions and make the recommendations for improved work definition.

What’s Needed?



• Current or recent expired certification in IPC Soldering standards 7711/7721, J-STD, J-STD for Space mandatory

• 5+ years experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for Aerospace.



• Experience in PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics.



• Experience in common electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.)



• Experience supporting the development of Space Based systems and experience in aerospace manufacturing
