CNC Machinist -Lathe Operator

Pay: – $20-$26/ hour DOE
Schedule: Day shift
Our client in Fort Collins is looking for experienced, hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as a CNC Machinist /Lathe Operator. (Mills a plus)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What will you be doing?
- Program CNC machines using software programs to perform machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
- Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning workpieces, cutting tools, and fixtures.
- Load and unload workpieces into CNC machines, as well as load and change cutting tools.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Troubleshoot issues or malfunctions that arise during the machining process and take appropriate corrective actions.
What do you bring?
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC operation,Lathes Mills a plus
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC machining equipment and tools, as well as various machining techniques and processes.
