Packaging Graphic Designer

Our client, a leading organization in the retail packaging industry, is seeking a Packaging Graphic Designer to join their team. As a Packaging Graphic Designer, you will be part of the creative department supporting product development and branding initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Graphic Designer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Range: $35-$40/hourly

Shift: 8:00 - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Conceptualize and design innovative retail packaging such as blister cards, clamshells, boxes, labels, and inserts
• Develop packaging layouts that effectively communicate product benefits, specifications, compatibility, and safety information
• Maintain and evolve brand consistency across SKUs, product lines, and retail partners
• Prepare print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in dielines, bleeds, color profiles, and material specifications
• Collaborate with internal teams to interpret product requirements and regulatory constraints

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of graphic design experience with a focus on packaging design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience designing for physical retail environments
• Strong understanding of print production, dielines, materials, and color management
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, consumer-friendly visuals
