Maintenance Worker - Weekend FT

Our client, a municipal organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing public spaces, is seeking a Maintenance Worker - Weekend FT to join their team. As a Maintenance Worker - Weekend FT, you will be part of the Groundskeeping department supporting city maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: OVERNIGHT Maintenance Worker - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SUN AND SAT EVERY WEEK WILL BE OFF ON MONDAY AND ONE OTHER WEEK DAY

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range:  13.84 PER HR

Shift: 4 AM-1230PM

What's the Job?

• Assist with grounds maintenance and trash pickup at designated city locations
• Walk at least a mile daily performing trash collection and site cleanup
• Lift and carry heavy trash cans weighing 30-40 pounds as needed
• Work alongside city employees to ensure the upkeep of public spaces
• Report to crew leaders and coordinate tasks effectively during scheduled shifts

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in grounds maintenance or related field preferred
• Ability to walk and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Capability to lift 30-40 pounds regularly
• Reliable transportation to the work location at 1915 West Gwinnett Street, Savannah, GA
• Strong work ethic and ability to work weekends consistently
