Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist
Location: Boise, ID
Pay Range: $17.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Conduct high-volume customer collection calls and correspondence to collect delinquent customer balances on an assigned portfolio.
- Manage collections of disputed or unauthorized customer deductions while providing excellent customer service regarding collection issues.
- Continuously monitor the order release queue where customer orders stop for review.
- Prepare final demand letters and coordinate the placement of accounts to third-party collection agencies as needed.
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including offsets of debits and credits and prepare monthly customer account statements.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
