Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in foam extrusion operations, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be an integral part of the maintenance department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive work ethic, and a safety-first mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: 28.00

Shift: Night Shift (18:00-06:00)

What's the Job?

• Provide maintenance support to foam extrusion operations, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and controls (PLC) repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of bulk material transport equipment, including loaders, hoppers, and vacuum systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members.

What's Needed?

• Basic understanding of controls (PLC) and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mechanical processes and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with bulk material transport equipment such as loaders, hoppers, and vacuum systems.
• Basic computer skills and a good work ethic.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a safety-conscious environment.
