Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth and safe functioning of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Location: Murray, KY

Pay Range: $20 - $22 /hour

What's the Job?

• Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner, reporting safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
• Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with operational requirements, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks to support continuous improvement.
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues, determining necessary materials, parts, and tools for effective repairs.
• Inspect machinery for defects, misalignment, and wear, and determine the best repair approach with minimal production disruption.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements related to equipment operation and maintenance.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain work logs, records, and CMMS documentation.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and support safety and maintenance initiatives.
