Quality Technician - $25-$29/hr.
Our client, in Agawam, MA, is seeking a Quality Technician II to join their team. This role directly supports manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles, and methodologies with the goal of consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations of quality.

What will you be doing?
- Release product for shipping by ensuring proper documentation/certifications are provided as outlined by customer requirements
- Understand and apply basic GD&T concepts
- Proficient in dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts
- Provide direct support to the production floor and technical inspections of manufactured raw materials
- Provide on the job training to new quality inspectors
- Collect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics
- Program and operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment proficiently
- Prioritize work order tasks for QA lab
- Audit internal processes
- Develop calibration procedures and provide calibration of measuring equipment
What do you bring?
- Positive, can-do attitude
- High School Diploma, GED or an Associate Degree in related field
- 3+ years working preferably in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel/Spreadsheets
- Certification as a Quality Technician preferred
- Programming for FARO and Micro-Vu Measurement Equipment desired
