Distribution Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Distribution Coordinator to join their team. As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Distribution Coordinator

Location: Bellingham, MA

Pay Range: $23.75

Shift: Start at 6:00am at 2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Direct and coordinate activities of distribution facilities to ensure smooth operations
• Establish and follow procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling merchandise, and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Communicate daily with cross-functional teams including carriers, plants, sales, finance, and others to coordinate activities
• Assign tasks to team members, oversee loading and unloading trucks, and ensure safety and food safety protocols are followed
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and assist with tracking productivity and inventory management

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in interactions
• Ability to work in a moderate noise environment and follow safety procedures
