CNC Machine Operator

Our client, Acushnet Company/Titleist, is seeking CNC Operators/Machinists to join its team. As a CNC Operator, you will be supporting the Titleist Golf Ball manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CNC experience, have a strong understanding of blueprint reading, and the ability to use precision measuring tools.

Job Title:  CNC Operator / Machinist
Location: New Bedford Ma
Pay: $20.40/h-$35.79/4
Shift: 2nd & 3rd shifts available 
 
What’s the Job? 

• Set up, tram and indicate all vises and fixtures with minimal downtime
• Safely load all tooling into the CNC equipment and load and unload components and materials
• Properly operate CNC equipment and machinery
• Recognize, maintain, and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
• Operate CMM Equipment to verify all molds and machined components are compliant with all drawings and specifications

• Vocational High School and Machine Shop Apprenticeship preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC Machining Centers
• Math and precise measuring tools understanding
• Strong understanding of bluprints and geometric tolerancing
• Be adept at modifying programs, making tool offset changes, regulating speeds and feeds
