Our client, a leader in process automation and measurement instrumentation, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Optical Analysis Department supporting the production and testing of advanced laser and spectrograph products. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with assembly, electronics, soldering, repairs, or technical hobbies, and excellent attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $21

Shift: Monday-Friday Day Shift

What's the Job?

  • Hands-on building of product, testing, and troubleshooting of optical and electronic assemblies.
  • Write and correct existing Work Instructions within Raman Manufacturing.
  • Set up equipment and perform complex processes and measurements.
  • Identify procedural problems, conduct experiments, and report findings, recommending solutions.
  • Provide technical assistance and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly.
  • Associate’s degree or 2+ years’ work experience related to the job requirements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of optics applications such as lenses, microscopes, and related equipment.
  • Ability to work with various hand tools and be mechanically inclined.
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
