Sanitation Technician

Our client is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be an essential part of the facilities management team supporting the upkeep and cleanliness of the premises. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Location: Elk Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $18 per hour, $.50 night shift premium

Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Inspect and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in the training of new team members on sanitation procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory of cleaning supplies.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a sanitation or cleaning role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
