Our client, a vibrant private club, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting the dining experience for members and employees. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Big Bay, MI

Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience

Shift: Seasonal job, approx. April 22 - October 28. Schedule - weekends necessary, Sunday/Monday 1PM-9PM & Friday/Saturday 6AM-2PM, 5th day is optional and open to preference

What's the Job?

• Prepare food utilizing various culinary techniques for members and employees at a private club.
• Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are properly sanitized.
• Ensure food safety, including proper temperatures and food storage practices.
• Communicate and collaborate with servers and other kitchen staff in a polite and professional manner.
• Create a diverse and nutritious menu that meets the traditions and dietary needs of members.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in food service preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.
