Our client, a leading environmental services provider, is seeking a Utility Billing Administrator to join their team. As a Utility Billing Administrator, you will be part of the billing department supporting finance and customer service teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Utility Billing Administrator

Location: Albertville, MN

Pay Range: $66,560 - $76,960/year

Shift: Monday - Friday; ~8:00AM - 4:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the billing department to ensure timely and accurate billing processes.
  • Produce and review monthly utility billing, including client fixed fee and variable charges.
  • Resolve customer service issues and oversee open complaints, ensuring responsive and professional communication.
  • Perform account reconciliations related to unbilled costs, fees, and revenue recognition.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and field personnel to clarify missing data and ensure billing accuracy.

What's Needed?

  • Prior Utility Billing experience greatly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience with financial and accounting aspects of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of GAAP standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
