Job Title: Shipping Associate

Location: Conover, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18.50 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping Associate to join our team in Conover, NC. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including inventory handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan materials in and out of bin locations using an RFID scanner
• Operate shrink wrap machinery
• Safely operate forklifts (4,000–10,000 lb capacity)
• Load and unload van trailers and shipping containers
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Prepare work areas for incoming shifts
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist in other departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience required
• Must be able to demonstrate safe forklift operation during the interview process
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Able to stay focused and productive with minimal supervision
• Commitment to workplace safety and company policies (no tobacco use on company property)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
