Why This Role Matters
As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nutritional care to patients. Your expertise will support both individualized nutrition plans and broader wellness initiatives, contributing to improved health outcomes across the hospital.
What You'll Do
• Conduct nutrition assessments and implement individualized care plans using the Nutrition Care Process
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients, families, and staff
• Support interdisciplinary teams by communicating nutritional recommendations and participating in patient rounds
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
• A current, up-to-date resume
• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Current North Carolina Dietitian/Nutritionist licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a clinical environment
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including a background check, drug screen, TB test, and immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, Influenza)
