Maintenance Technician – Temp to Hire

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a small manufacturing plant in Conover, NC. This is a 1st shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay starting at $22 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic hydraulic systems

• Maintain building systems (lighting, plumbing, minor HVAC support)

• Conduct general grounds upkeep (mowing, trimming, snow removal as needed)

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Dependable with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently
