PT Custodian/Janitor

Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and functional environment, is seeking a PT Custodian/Janitor to join their team. As a PT Custodian/Janitor, you will be an essential part of the facilities support team, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness for various events and daily activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PT Custodian/Janitor

Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 
Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 830am-2pm
Sunday 830am-2pm
*Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed as well
 

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, synagogue, and school facilities
• Sweep floors, empty trash, and wash chalkboards
• Set up tables and chairs for events and activities
• Moving tables/chairs up/down stairs as needed
• Assist with light food preparation for events
• Perform light handyman duties such as painting and changing lightbulbs

What's Needed?

• Requires janitorial/maintenance background
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and/or evenings
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed
