Machine Shop Operator – 1st Shift

?? Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
? 30-min lunch + two 15-min breaks

Looking for a hands-on role with a 4-day workweek and steady hours? We’re hiring a Machine Shop Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Highland, NY. This is a great opportunity for someone with machine shop or manufacturing experience who enjoys working with tools, machinery, and blueprints.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate a variety of machines including sheet-metal punching and forming
• Perform drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding operations
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Work with other departments to complete production tasks
• Enter job and material transactions accurately in the computer system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety requirements and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Machine shop or manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and power tools
• Metal fabrication experience a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude
