Mechanical Assembler

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in magnetic technology, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of a diverse production team supporting the assembly of advanced motion control products, including motors and encoders. The ideal candidate will have wiring/soldering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: East Setauket, NY

Pay Range: $20 - $21.11

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and follow methods and procedures for mechanical assembly and component installation.
• Make setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of related experience in wiring and soldering.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs safely.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
