Bilingual Hygenie Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking  Sanitation Technicians to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and sanitation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bilingual Sanitation Technician - 2nd shift / 3rd Shift

Location: Shirley, NY

Pay Range: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00PM , Monday to Friday) 
3rd Shift (10PM - 6AM,  , Monday to Friday) 

Duration: Temp-to-hire 

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of production equipment and areas according to quality and safety standards.
• Clean soiled supplies and equipment used in the production process.
• Wash walls, ceilings, floors, and disinfect refrigerator units and trash rooms.
• Operate rack washers, washer extractors, and dryers, performing maintenance cleaning as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of cleaning chemicals and supplies, maintaining accurate cleaning records.

What's Needed?

• Fluency in Spanish
• 1+ experience of sanitation in a manufacturing environment (required)
• Experience in food or pharma preferred. 
• Knowledge of GMP policy and regulations
• Ability to work efficiently during night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
