Part-Time Brand Ambassador – Local Media Organization
Overview
We are seeking outgoing, community-driven Brand Ambassadors to represent a portfolio of trusted local news brands at events across the region.
This is a high-energy, public-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and believe in the importance of local journalism. As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face of our organization and play a key role in growing audience engagement and subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent our media brands at local events, festivals, and community gatherings
- Engage attendees in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Promote and sell digital and print subscriptions
- Encourage sign-ups for free newsletters and digital products
- Answer questions about our content, products, and services
- Set up, manage, and break down event booths (includes light lifting)
- Capture insights and feedback from event participants to inform future outreach efforts

Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Interest in and enthusiasm for local news and community engagement
- Comfortable using tablets and basic digital tools
- Dependable, self-motivated, and professional
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (event equipment/materials)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work weekends and event-based schedules
