Forklift/Production Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking Forklift and Production Operators to join their team. We have 1st and 3rd shift opportunities available. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and forklift experience.

Job Title: Forklift/Production Operator

Location: Norwalk, OH

Pay Range: $18 - $20

Shift: First (8am - 4:30pm) Third (7:00PM - 5:30AM)

What's the Job?

• Perform weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Obtain correct documentation for each batch and ensure proper ingredients are delivered and weighed out according to recipes.
• Set up and operate weigh-up and packaging machinery, checking all controls for safety and proper functioning.
• Process batches safely and neatly, including off-screen cut-up, packaging, and skidding materials to meet customer specifications.
• Pull and stage orders
• Operate Forklift/Materials handling

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
