Commercial Estimator

Our client, a reputable organization in the construction and fencing industry, is seeking a Commercial Estimator to join their team. As a Commercial Estimator, you will be part of the Installation Department supporting project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial Estimator

Location: Red Lion, PA

Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000

Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Preparing accurate estimates for commercial fencing projects based on plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Reviewing blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure precise project scope understanding
• Performing material takeoffs and labor calculations to develop comprehensive cost estimates
• Developing and submitting competitive bid proposals to secure new projects
• Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and project information

What's Needed?

• Experience in construction estimating, preferably with commercial projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately
• Understanding of construction materials, logistics, and installation methods
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise cost calculations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating or project management software
