Shift: 2nd shift 3:30pm -11:30pm

$26-$30/hr

Job Responsibilities

1. Equipment Handling and Preparation:

  • Safely handle and prepare various equipment and parts for inspection.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of the CMM and related tools.

2. Loading and Unloading of Parts:

  • Load parts onto the CMM carefully and accurately.
  • Unload inspected parts and organize them for further processing or reporting.

3. Execution of Metrology Programs:

  • Operate the CMM according to standard operating procedures.
  • Execute pre-defined metrology programs to measure parts.
  • Adjust settings and parameters as needed for accurate measurements.

4. Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Inspect parts for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for quality improvement.

5. Data Recording and Reporting:

  • Accurately record measurement data and inspection results.
  • Prepare and submit reports on inspection findings.
  • Maintain records of inspections and measurements for quality tracking.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to address quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inspection results and quality concerns.

7. Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during inspection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Experience in operating CMM and knowledge of metrology principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
