Master Electrician

Our client, a leading provider of electrical services supporting residential and commercial projects, is seeking a Master Electrician to join their team. As a Master Electrician, you will be part of the electrical operations supporting the Richmond region. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Master Electrician

Location: Ashland, VA

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Lead day-to-day electrical service operations across residential and commercial projects
• Supervise electricians, journeymen, and apprentices in the field
• Serve as the Qualifying Individual (QI) for the company’s Virginia electrical license
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Virginia building codes
• Coordinate inspections including rough-in, trench, and final inspections

What's Needed?

• Active Virginia Master Electrician License (DPOR)
• Ability to serve as the company’s Qualifying Individual (QI)
• Minimum 8 years electrical experience, including residential and commercial work
• Prior experience supervising electricians or electrical crews
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and Virginia code requirements
