We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and managing financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction finance and a keen eye for detail.

*Key Responsibilities*
Oversee the operations of the accounting department for various entities, including an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives, control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll functions including management and training of staff of 3
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system (Paper and Electronic Files) and a system of controls over all accounting transactions
Manage Job Budgets, Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Subcontracts
Issue timely and complete monthly internal financial statements including Work in Process
Provide financial analyses as needed
Coordinate the provision of information to CPA firm for the annual review, tax returns, and tax installments
*Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction finance, accrual accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software, excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
