Site Supervisor: Opiate Treatment (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) Job Description

Under supervision of the Director of Outpatient Services, serves as the clinical and administrative lead of the licensed and certified Opioid Treatment Program. Manages the overall output and services of the administrative, medical, and clinical staff. Supervises all programming in the department, including the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), Vivitrol Programs, Addiction Treatment Program (ATP) and State Opioid Response (SOR) projects. Ensures that the highest standard of care, corresponding documentation and processes are in-line with Maryhaven clinical policies and procedures. Site Supervisor will work to strengthen multi-disciplinary teams through focused skill building to improve team functioning and increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality of services provided. Assists with ensuring that department staff are properly coached, supported, managed to the highest possible standards. Develops an office/site culture consistent with Maryhavens values, vision, and mission. May serve as the public face of the organization at local, county and statewide levels, which may include acting as Program Administrator for licensure purposes. Develops relationships with internal and external partners, strengthening the agency through ongoing collaborations with funders, stakeholders and area residents. Assists in special projects, licensing activities, accreditation processes and regulatory compliance reviews as needed. This position will require ongoing evaluation of systems to ensure ongoing program improvement and development while overseeing all quality improvement measures in the department. Site Supervisor will work to create interventions to increase staff wellness and to improve client retention, client satisfaction and overall service delivery.

Site Supervisor: Opiate Treatment (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) Requirements

  • Independent licensure: LPCC, LISW, LICDC Preferred; LPC, LSW, LCDC III required.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in the treatment of SUD.
  • Working knowledge of the rules/regulations regarding supervisions by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, and Chemical Dependency Board.
  • Strong understanding of the scope of practices with levels of licensure for each applicable licensing body.
  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a masters degree in human services, counseling, or social work; bachelors degree in human services and/or health related field is required.
  • Four years experience required in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, healthcare administration, or at a human services organization.
  • Experience in direct provision and management of behavioral healthcare or clinical programming preferred.
  • Prior administrative experience demonstrated through skills in data analysis, the development of organizational systems, and the capability to multitask and prioritize independently.
