The OpportunityMassMutual Financial Advisors is looking for an experienced and passionate leader to run national sales for our career agency system.We are a highly successful, collaborative organization that partners with our 60 firms and 7500 advisors to support our advisors to help their clients secure their futures and protect the ones they love. The TeamThe MMFA sales team is comprised of 70 sales, distribution and advanced sales professionals who are focused on helping our MMFA advisors and brokers provide protection solutions to their clients.   This includes dedicated sales teams for life, disability and annuity products, an advanced sales team of attorneys and advanced sales professionals, our agency brokerage team as well as a dedicated internal sales desk.   The Impact:Reporting to the Head of MassMutual Financial Advisors, the Head of National Sales is responsible for developing and executing the  sales plan for individual life insurance, individual disability and annuity sales within MMFA. This person will also manage MMFA’s sales support for these product lines for our advisors and brokers.Working in partnership with the Head of MMFA and our field management team, this person will drive product awareness, sales solutions and alignment with our partners in the field.  They will also need to build partnerships with other home office key partners as well as our field advisory groups. This role will provide leadership and oversight for hiring developing, motivating and managing 70 sales and advanced sales professionals within the home office as well as the product and sales specialists within our firms.   The Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred10+ years of successful sales and distribution management experienceApplicable FINRA registrations (6 or 7, 24, and 63) and insurance licensesThe Ideal QualificationsSuccessful track record leading sales teamsStrong communication skillsAbility to build and lead a positive sales culture that views our advisor as the clientAbility to work within a highly collaborative team while delivering resultsAbility to travel on a regular basisWhat to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the TeamRegular meetings with the MMFA senior leadership teamFocused one-on-one meetings with your managerAccess to mentorship opportunitiesNetworking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQ, veteran and Aa-focused Business Resource GroupsAccess to learning content on Degreed and other informational platformsYour ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefitsSalary Range: $190,000 - $300,000 + Variable Incentive Compensation#LI-LS1#LI-REMOTEWhy Join Us.We’ve been around since 1851.
