Heavy Equipment Technician

McCoy Construction and Forestry is your John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment dealer. MCF is looking for Heavy Equipment Field Service Technicians in our Louisville, KY dealership. Field Service Technicians are responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, diesel and gasoline industrial, heavy duty construction and forestry equipment.

• Earn up to $50/hr plus bonus

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• 2-3 years construction and forestry heavy duty diesel equipment experience required
• Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work, etc.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
• Work on customers equipment on the road or in the field
