The Configuration Management Specialist will conduct all aspects of configuration management support for PMW 770 Undersea Communications and Integration Job Requirements Responsibilities * Design and document configuration and data management processes * Assist leadership in ensuring that configuration management processes are adhered to by the engineering teams. * Establish configuration identification, functional, allocated, and product baselines * Assists with configuration control, status accounting, and physical configuration audits * Maintains configuration management procedures * Reviews technical documentation * Evaluates proposed product design changes to determine the impact on overall system * Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle to ensure quality control * Implements directives and schedules necessary to ensure effective system management * Responds to data calls * Develops, updates, and maintains program of record documentation * Proficient with MS Office applications Experience * 3+ years of experience working with CMPro CM software tool * Experience supporting and facilitating Configuration Control Boards * Experience with reading, reviewing, and interpreting engineering and design drawings * Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time management skills Qualifications and Education Requirements * Bachelors' Degree from an accredited university desired * 5+ years of experience working in a Configuration Management role * This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level * U.S. Citizenship isrequired Job located at a U.S. Government Facility Working knowledge of CM to include EIS-649 and Mil-STD-31000. Direct experience in the field of torpedo systems. Working knowledge of CMPro database. Existing clearance is a plus.
