Our product categories include heart and respiratory health, diabetes, infectious diseases, and consumer products.We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking Product Manager to lead our Medical Publications capability in our company's Research Labs IT group.  This role will have primary responsibility to manage the product development process, build the vision and future strategy of the product tying to value (OKRs), enforcing best practices of product development cycle. The Product Manager will also leverage their understanding of the technology stack of modern applications, ability to combine design & user needs with business expectations, ability to build & prioritize backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Make IT product decisions, and ensure decisions align with product strategy.Prioritize product requirements and own the product backlog.Maintain application roadmaps and ensure they align business needs and IT capabilities.Set and manage Objectives and Key Results aligned with business.Manage elements of the product life cycle to meet user needs and financial and other targets.Analyze market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data.Drive product discovery to understand user needs and translate to solutions.Develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.Work cross-functionally with IT and business colleagues to maximize value.Work with architects and technical leads to drive to development and operational best practicesWork with the business on value objectives, process analysis, scope definition, requirements and documentation, testing, and realization.Act as the interface between internal business teams and external vendors.Manage application providers and vendors, coordinate external and internal activities.Plan and drive systems development projects which support the organizational objectives.Select, adopt, and adapt appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools, and techniques (e.g. Agile, iterative, Jira backlog).Take accountability for IT costs for the product and optimize spending within given limits.Required Education: Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related fields.Required Experience and Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.Ability to work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability.Open and receptive to ideas.
