Metro Imaging is a leading provider of outpatient imaging services in the greater St. Louis area. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and driving the organizational excellence of Metro Imaging.

 

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s mission and vision.
  • Drive operational efficiency, quality improvement, and growth initiatives.
  • Operational Management:
  • Manage all aspects of clinical and administrative operations, including imaging centers, staff, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Optimize workflow processes to enhance patient experience and maximize efficiency.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers, technologists, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Promote professional development and growth.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Monitor service delivery and address any issues promptly.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, referring physicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships as needed.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or other related healthcare or science fields.

 

Experience: 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.

Education: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or other related healthcare or science fields.
