This organization is high growth mode and seeking a proven Project Management leader to grow the team and drive their project management office.The Senior Director PMO (Project Management Office) will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a diverse portfolio of related projects across various departments while creating a team that delivers a repeatable, scalable project platform aligned with our business objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget ultimately driving quick and agile execution. The Sr. Director PMO must have a background in infrastructure, construction, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) or related.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement project management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and alignment with organizational goals.Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.Collaborate with executive leadership to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.Allocate resources, monitor progress, and manage budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.Identify and mitigate risks across projects, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place.Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project management team.Serve as a key liaison between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Utilize project management tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
