PRINCIPAL, SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS

The Silicon Manufacturing and Packaging Engineering (SMPE) team is responsible for developing the packaging, assembly and manufacturing test solutions for Microsoft’s Silicon System on Chip and then working with major Foundry and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test partners to bring the System on Chip from engineering samples to volume production.We are looking for Principal, Supply Chain Engineering and Operations to join our team!Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.6 + years of experience in Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Product Development and Parts Production with successful deliveries of New Product Introductions of multi-generation Integrated Circuits products thereby enabling a foundation for Volume Production. 6 + years of experience working with external suppliers. 5 + years of supporting silicon development in production costing, planning and analysisOther requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.? Additional or Preferred Qualifications MBA Hands-on ownership, execution and results oriented approach to conducting business. Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting information impactfully in an oral and written manner to leadership and stakeholders to drive consensus and alignment.  Experienced in Product Costing, Planning and Analysis, identifying and driving Cost Reduction Initiatives.? Experience in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau. Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems, Tracking Systems, etcTechnical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Perform What-If analysis, set Cost of Goods Sold targets and identify initiatives to continually drive cost reduction.
