- Hours: 25 hours per week
- Shift: Days, 1st Shift
- Shift Details: Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm with Saturdays, as needed (not assigned)
Position Summary:
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG's, order entry, and specimen processing.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years’ experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
- 2 years' experience with adult education and instructional design
