  • Shift Details: Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm with Saturdays, as needed (not assigned)

Position Summary:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG's, order entry, and specimen processing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years’ experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
  • 2 years' experience with adult education and instructional design
