- The Pharmacist Staff - Retail Pharmacy ensures medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally.
- Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas: Retail dispensing, Home health aids.
- Performs and supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities.
- Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education.
- Participates in and follows standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.
- Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping.
- Supervises pharmacy interns and technicians.
- Input and process prescriptions
- Correct prescriptions
- Counsel patients
- Administer vaccines.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
