Responsibilities: In this role you will work with a small team to assess the feasibility and tradeoffs for employing available nuclear energy in specific use-cases. This expert will be responsible for a comprehensive analysis of energy supply options, distribution networks, availability trends, and system reliability. They will leverage their deep understanding of the field to suggest innovative solutions to enhance grid resilience and efficiency. The team will also identify alternatives and any innovative technologies.
Analyze energy supply options, distribution, availability, and reliability.
Suggest innovative solutions to enhance the electrical grid's efficiency and resilience.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Collaborate with a Business Analyst to compile and organize data responses for agency inquiries.
Confer with utility companies, equipment suppliers, and other stakeholders

This position is a short-term assignment, 6-8 months, possibly up to a year.
Advanced knowledge of electrical power systems and grid infrastructure
Proven experience in energy supply and distribution analysis
Working knowledge of electric power generation systems and components
Ability to innovate and implement forward-thinking solutions
In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
Strong analytical and data organization skills
Effective collaboration and communication abilities
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and data management
Familiarity with current regulations and standards, as their expertise will guide compliance and strategic planning.

Ability to distill complex technical topics into clear and concise language for a range of technical expertise from novice to expert.
Typically requires a BA degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
