• Proactively identify new business opportunities within federal environment Perform market research to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of customer budget, capabilities required, current customer preferences, competitive environment assessments, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses Federal requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract • Participate in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, operating plan development, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews • Lead captures conducts after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions • Supporting diverse portfolio of products and services, which comprises responsibility for all aspects of business development to include strategic capture, proposal operations, and market strategy within the Federal Civilian market
• Oversees the identification, qualification, and pursuit of strategic business opportunities.
• Support internal cross-organizational relationships and drives new growth.
• Obtain marketing intelligence and competitive data pertaining to potential targeted pursuits and develop marketing strategies.
• Lead and participate in bid decisions, phase reviews and the development of cost strategies for the Federal Civilian market.
• Play a key role in the development and execution of the long-term strategic plan for Federal Civilian market. Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of the Federal Civilian acquisition/procurement process.
• Familiarity with the FEDERAL CIVILIAN IDIQ/GWAC & DHS contracts and industry competitors.
• Must have recent direct experience and connections with key decision makers within the US Federal Civilian Agencies.
• Experience in teaming partnerships would be preferred
• Demonstrated access to key federal government customers.
